Updated: Oct 21, 2024

The Advisory Board Centre (ABC) is intensifying its efforts across Asia, particularly Southeast Asia, by hosting the 2024 Megatrends Summit: Showcase Singapore. “ABC is focusing its efforts across Asia, especially SEA, hence the reason for holding the event in Singapore where many family offices are now based, with the expectation that advisors can fulfil an important and valuable role to them and other organisations as they grow,” said Udo Doring, CEO of ABC. “In particular, Singapore have seen an incredible increase in activity, hence the reason for holding our Summit in the city. An active proponent of advisory boards has been family offices and as the concentration has increased in Singapore, so too has the expectation that advisors can fulfil an important and valuable role in supporting them as they grow, and their needs evolve.”

The international networking event aims to facilitate leading-edge thinking and discussions for the advisory community and the businesses they support. It will bring together influential thought leaders, business representatives, advisory board professionals, and innovators to elevate the debate about the future. The summit will showcase the expertise of the global and local advisor community through insights from expert panels and interactive discussions. "Advisors are playing an increasingly active role in the financial services industry, including with family offices and wealth managers." according to Jonathan Watkin, CEO of Asia First.
