Asset management firm Apollo opens Seoul office, names Korea head



US-based asset management firm Apollo announced the opening of its Seoul office as part of its expansion in the Asia-Pacific region. The firm appointed Lee Jae-hyun, formerly a senior executive vice president at Samsung Securities, as partner and head of Korea to lead its growth plans in the market. Apollo has been operating in the Asia Pacific for over 15 years, with offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney, and Mumbai. The expansion into South Korea aims to capitalise on opportunities to serve investors and retirees across various investment spectrums and meet the growing demand for flexible capital solutions.
