Paris-based BNP Paribas Securities Services has announced the appointment of Laure Ly as the new head of its Hong Kong operations. Ly, who has been with BNP Paribas since 2004, will report to Franck Dubois, head of APAC securities services, and Hugo Leung, CEO of BNP Paribas Hong Kong. She succeeds Julien Kasparian, recently promoted to regional head for the UK and Middle East securities services, pending regulatory approvals. Based in Hong Kong since 2014 after a decade in Paris, Ly most recently served as head of client development for Greater China. Her extensive experience within the securities services unit is expected to enhance BNP Paribas’ presence and growth in the Hong Kong market.
