Hong Kong billionaire Henry Cheng’s family office has appointed his son, Christopher Cheng, as co-chief executive, overseeing North Asia investments. Patrick Tsang, a family in-law, was named head for the Americas, Australia, and Europe, while Gilbert Ho of NWS Holdings will manage corporate functions. This reshuffle includes four of Cheng’s children in senior roles across the family’s business empire, with Adrian Cheng as CEO of New World Development, Sonia Cheng as vice-chairman for Chow Tai Fook Jewellery, and Brian Cheng as co-CEO of NWS. Amid ongoing succession discussions, Henry Cheng, who remains chairman, emphasised the new leadership’s role in driving stakeholder and community results.
