Citi has appointed Damien Tan as the head of its corporate banking division in Singapore, effective May 1. In this role, Tan will lead the bank’s engagements with top-tier local corporations, public sector entities, financial institutions, and multinational clients, contributing to the strategic growth and performance of Citi’s corporate banking business. He will also be a part of Citi’s Singapore management committee. Tan, who holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours from the London School of Economics, brings over two decades of experience to his new position. Previously, he managed local corporate relationships across various sectors and played a key role in Citi’s Asia fixed income syndicate team. Tan’s comprehensive experience and deep industry knowledge are expected to significantly benefit Citi’s operations in Singapore.
