Arta Finance, a digital family office with bases in Singapore and the US, has been granted a capital markets services licence by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. The company, emerging from stealth in 2022 with over USD120m in funding from notable investors including Peak XV and Ribbit, plans to launch its investment platform for Singapore residents later this year. Founded by Caesar Sengupta, Arta aims to democratise sophisticated financial strategies, previously available only to the ultra-wealthy, using technology to enable accessible, intelligent investing through alternative assets and AI-enhanced public market strategies. The platform also emphasises security, employing advanced encryption and authentication technologies. Eric Schmidt, co-founder of Schmidt Futures, praised the integration of AI and financial strategies as revolutionary.
