Emirates NBD, the Dubai government-owned bank, has appointed Sameer Deshpande as the new head of wealth management for its Singapore operations, as announced in a recent LinkedIn post. In this role, Deshpande will oversee the bank’s wealth management business in Singapore and the broader Asian region. Bringing nearly three decades of experience in financial services, he joins Emirates NBD after a 19-year tenure at Citi, where he most recently served as the global head of investment esales. There, he was responsible for managing digital solutions worldwide for the US bank’s wealth management division.
