Family offices in Asia are increasingly embracing digital assets, with 76% of private wealth in the region already invested in the space, according to a report from Aspen Digital. An additional 18% plan to invest in the near future, reflecting growing interest since 2022, when only 58% had ventured into digital assets. The report, based on a survey of 80 family offices and high-net-worth individuals managing assets between USD10m and USD500m, found that most allocate less than 5% of their portfolios to digital assets. However, some have raised their exposure to over 10%. The approval of spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) has further fueled demand, with 53% of respondents gaining exposure through ETFs, mirroring global trends in crypto investment.
