Hong Kong Investment Corporation has named four fund managers and a service provider for the New Capital Investment Entrant Scheme, part of the city’s revived investor visa initiative. Betatron Venture Group, InnoAngel Fund, MindWorks Capital, and Radiant Tech Ventures will manage the first tranche of capital, while BOCI-Prudential Trustee will oversee asset management administration. Betatron focuses on early-stage tech investments in Hong Kong and Singapore, with ticket sizes from USD500,000 to USD2m. Beijing-based InnoAngel Fund manages several billion yuan in assets, while Hong Kong-based MindWorks Capital oversees over USD700m. Radiant Tech Ventures was a co-investment partner in the government’s Innovation and Technology Venture Fund in 2018. The scheme aims to attract foreign investors and boost the city’s economic recovery.
