
The Hong Kong Investment Funds Association (HKIFA) has appointed Stephen Po as an honorary advisor to provide regulatory expertise for Hong Kong and mainland China. Po, a former executive director at the Hong Kong Insurance Authority and senior director at the Securities and Futures Commission, brings a wealth of regulatory experience. He also served on the International Advisory Council of the China Securities Regulatory Commission and chaired an IOSCO committee on market intermediaries. Currently, Po is an independent non-executive director at Citibank (Hong Kong) and China Securities, and serves on the Hang Seng Index Advisory Committee.
