HSBC to open third wealth centre in Hong Kong

Updated: 19 hours ago

HSBC will open its third wealth centre in Hong Kong in the second half of 2025, moving ahead despite market volatility driven by the US-China trade war. The new facility, which will also function as a paramedical centre, will offer anti-ageing treatments, medical check-ups, insurance, vaccinations, and wealth management services. The bank is targeting the “silver economy” and high-net-worth clients from mainland China and the Greater Bay Area. HSBC Life, the insurer’s unit behind the initiative, said demand at its first two centres—opened in 2021 and 2022—more than doubled in 2024. The new centre will also provide hyperbaric oxygen therapy to promote tissue repair. HSBC said it remains confident in Hong Kong’s long-term appeal as a wealth and medical services hub.
