Janus Wu named head of Citibank’s IPB in Hong Kong



Citibank has appointed Janus Wu as the new Head of International Personal Bank (IPB) for Hong Kong, effective immediately. Wu, previously the Shenzhen Branch Manager, will now lead the international personal banking sector, focusing on expanding business through the One-Citi partnership. This strategy is aimed at enhancing service offerings for IPB clients with a suite of banking solutions and investment services. Vicky Kong, Chief Executive of Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited, emphasised the strategic importance of the Greater Bay Area, noting Wu’s extensive experience as a valuable asset for growing both the GBA and IPB operations. Wu joined Citibank in 2007, advancing through significant roles within the company in both China and Hong Kong.
