Real estate company JLL has announced the appointment of Taeho Yi as the new country manager for South Korea, effective June 2024. Based in Seoul, Yi will lead JLL’s overall operations and strategic direction in South Korea, focusing on key business areas such as capital markets, market advisory, and work dynamics. Yi brings extensive experience from his previous role as Korea country head at CBRE Global Investors, where he served for nine years. He also has a strong background in the sector with prior positions at JLL Capital Markets, Daelim Industrial, HMC Investment Securities, ING Real Estate Investment Manager, and Savills. Rohit Hemnani, JLL’s COO for capital markets in Asia Pacific, highlighted South Korea’s dynamic role in the global real estate market.
