Updated: 2 hours ago

JP Morgan Private Bank has appointed Wayne Bowers as managing director and head of institutional investment solutions in Asia, as the Wall Street lender strengthens its presence among family offices and non-profit clients in the region. Based in Hong Kong, Bowers brings over 35 years of cross-asset investment experience, including previous roles on the investment advisory committees of UNESCO and UNRWA. He was also a founding partner and chief investment officer at Sostratus Capital, a boutique asset manager. Earlier in his career, Bowers held senior positions at Northern Trust, ABN AMRO, and SG Hambros. The appointment underscores JP Morgan’s continued push to expand its private banking services for institutional clients in Asia’s fast-growing wealth markets.
