The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and China's National Financial Regulatory Administration (NFRA) reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen supervisory cooperation during their annual roundtable meeting. Held alongside the 30th anniversary of the Suzhou Industrial Park, the event was co-chaired by MAS Deputy Managing Director Ho Hern Shin and NFRA Vice Minister Zhou Liang. Both authorities praised the strong momentum in bilateral cooperation over the past two years, which included staff exchanges and study visits on technology resilience, digital assets, artificial intelligence, and green finance. Discussions focused on supervisory priorities related to Singaporean and Chinese banks, updates on NFRA's insurance supervision framework, and shared insights on asset management sector practices.
