Moonfare is seeing rising demand from Singapore’s family offices, which topped 2,000 last year, a five-fold rise in five years. The Berlin-based digital private markets platform said these investors are a key growth driver in Asia Pacific. Many are new to private markets, said APAC head Adam Banks. Moonfare lets individuals invest in private equity and VC funds from KKR, Carlyle, EQT, and Insight Partners from USD60,000. Singapore family offices can invest up to USD2m. About 10% of Moonfare’s 5,000 active investors are in APAC, half of them in Singapore. The firm launched in 2018 and entered Australia in February.
