Paris-based Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking (Natixis CIB) has formed a strategic alliance with Korea’s Woori Bank following the opening of its securities branch in Seoul last year. Announced in Paris, this partnership focuses on collaboration in global private debt funds and direct lending, with potential expansion into other areas. Mohamed Kallala, global head of Natixis CIB, emphasised the enhanced global private debt capabilities and financing opportunities this alliance would bring. Additionally, Bruno Le Saint, CEO of APAC at Natixis CIB, highlighted the strategic use of the Seoul branch to connect regional investors with global markets, reinforcing Natixis CIB’s commitment to expand its client base and offerings in the Korean market.
