Northern Trust has appointed Kai Jebens as head of client development for Southeast Asia and Chris Vera as senior digital solutions consultant for APAC. Jebens, based in Singapore, will drive growth in custody, fund accounting, data, and digital services, leveraging his experience from Collibra, BNY Mellon, and Bloomberg. Vera, with 20 years of experience in investment data and technology, previously held senior roles at BlackRock, AIA, and a sovereign wealth fund in Singapore. These appointments reflect Northern Trust’s commitment to expanding in Southeast Asia, as emphasised by Yen Leng Ong, the country executive. Northern Trust has a strong presence in APAC, with offices in key cities and relationships with major asset managers and government entities.
