Philippines’s first crowdfunding platform for SMEs to shut down



Investree Philippines Inc, the country’s pioneering crowdfunding intermediary and funding platform, is set to cease operations by September 30, 2025. A stock exchange filing by Filinvest Development Corp. (FDC) announced that its subsidiary, f(dev) Digital Innovations and Ventures Inc, along with Investree Singapore Pte Ltd, both shareholders of Investree Philippines, have decided to wind down the platform’s operations. Launched in 2020, Investree Philippines aimed to empower micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by connecting them with investors to access capital. The platform, which supported over 180 businesses and funded more than 800 applications across various sectors, will ensure a smooth transition in compliance with the Securities and Exchange Commission regulations, focusing on the proper settlement of all obligations.
