Speaking to supporters at Istora Senayan, Prabowo cited quick count results from various survey agencies showing a lead for the Prabowo-Gibran ticket. Despite the optimistic outlook, he cautioned against arrogance and urged humility, reminding his audience to await the official results from the General Elections Commission (KPU). Over 204 million Indonesians voted on February 14 to elect not just the president and vice president but also members of national and regional legislative bodies. The election results are being tabulated with official recapitulation scheduled from February 15 to March 20, 2024.
