Prudential has appointed Angel Ng, a former senior leader at Citi, as the new CEO for its Greater China, customer, and wealth businesses. She will succeed Lilian Ng, managing director of Prudential’s strategic business group, who will retire at the end of this year. Reporting to CEO Anil Wadhwani and based in Hong Kong, Angel Ng brings 25 years of experience in financial services. At Citi, she led the Asia North and Australia cluster and was head of Asia for Citi Global Wealth. Angel Ng will join Prudential’s group executive committee on Oct 1. Lilian Ng will remain in her role until year-end and then serve as an adviser to the CEO until June 2025.
