Prudential shuts down HK wealth business

Prudential has discontinued its Hong Kong wealth management business, Pulse Wealth, as part of an effort to streamline operations, the insurer confirmed to Reuters. The closure allows the company to concentrate on other wealth services, maintaining its presence in the Hong Kong market with a newly established high net worth team. This decision aligns with Prudential’s strategic focus on core wealth offerings. This follows a similar closure of a wealth management platform in Singapore last September, marking a broader realignment of Prudential’s business strategy. The closure was first reported by Pensions & Investments.
