LOH Boon Chye, CEO of Singapore Exchange (SGX) Group, has been chosen as the new chairman of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE), a global industry association representing over 250 market infrastructure providers. He will lead for a two-year term, succeeding his prior role as the vice-chairman of WFE. The announcement was made during the WFE's 62nd general assembly in London. Jos Dijsselhof of SIX Group and John McKenzie of TMX Group were elected as vice-chairman and working committee chairman, respectively. Other newly appointed board directors include leaders from the Bermuda Stock Exchange, Cboe Global Markets, Japan Exchange Group, and the Korea Exchange. LOH expressed his dedication to fostering a transparent and innovative global financial market ecosystem during his tenure.
