Standard Chartered expands investment management in Singapore



Standard Chartered has bolstered its discretionary portfolio management (DPM) and fixed income teams in Singapore with four strategic hires. Alicia Chu, with 14 years of experience in credit, takes the helm as head of fixed income mandates. Alvin Chua, previously with DBS, joins as a senior portfolio manager focusing on multi-asset mandates for ultra-high net worth clients. Kan Jun Yang, coming from Deutsche Bank, will start on July 1 as a portfolio manager in fixed income. Additionally, Rayson Heung has been appointed as senior investment strategist within the Chief Investment Office, bringing two decades of bond market experience. These appointments reflect Standard Chartered’s commitment to enhancing client services and expanding its investment expertise.
