Thailand eases rules to attract more investors

Thailand will ease procedures and offer more incentives to attract foreign investors in the film, food, and pharmaceutical industries. The Regulatory Reform Committee for Ease of Doing Business is amending laws to boost business confidence and competitiveness. Measures include visa exemptions for Chinese film crews, streamlined work permits, and faster approval for pharmaceutical drugs. The government aims to increase annual revenue from foreign film productions to THB12bn (USD326.5m). These reforms are part of broader efforts to improve the ease of doing business and attract foreign direct investment.
