UOB has announced the appointments of Kelvin Ng as the new head of group global markets and Adaline Zheng as CEO of its Hong Kong branch. Ng, taking over from retiring Leslie Foo on April 1, brings over two decades of markets experience, including leadership roles in trading at foreign banks. He will oversee treasury solutions, financial products, and manage funding and liquidity. Zheng, succeeding Christine Ip on March 25, has a similarly extensive banking background, starting her career as a management trainee before ascending to various leadership positions, including general manager of a multinational bank’s Shanghai branch. Ip, the former Hong Kong branch CEO, continues as UOB’s CEO of Greater China and head of group strategic communications and brand.
