The Ministry of Industry and Trade in Vietnam has proposed to cut or simplify 69 business conditions and administrative procedures for 2025, aligning with government directives to enhance the business environment and promote growth. This move, responding to Decree 1 and 2 issued in January, aims to streamline state management of trade, focusing reductions primarily in the import-export sector with 19 procedures. Other affected areas include light industries, electricity, automotive, and chemical sectors. Additionally, 22 legal documents related to trade management are slated for revision. This proposal, which represents a 10.75% reduction in the ministry’s total procedures, is open for government feedback until September 10.
