Wealth manager Endowus reshuffles leadership, expands HK team

Endowus announced leadership changes and new hires to strengthen its investment team in Hong Kong. Co-founder and chairman Samuel Rhee will serve as Group CIO, focusing on investment strategy, including at Carret Private. Hugh Chung takes over as CIO, integrating investment functions. Janet Hung, who joined from Nomura, was named head of client advisory, while Jasmine Chan, formerly at Credit Suisse, leads the Hong Kong investment office. The changes follow Endowus’s USD17.5m fundraising in January, bringing its Series B to USD52.5m. The firm has raised USD110m from investors including UBS, Prosus Ventures, and MUFG. Founded in 2017, Endowus launched digital wealth services in Hong Kong in 2022, its first overseas market after Singapore.
