Wellington Management, a top independent asset manager, today announced an exclusive partnership with Standard Chartered Private Bank to bring its Credit Total Return strategy to clients in Singapore and Hong Kong starting April 2024. This strategy, managed by Connor Fitzgerald from Wellington’s Investment Grade Credit Team, focuses on a global mix of US dollar-denominated treasury, corporate, high yield, and emerging market bonds. The partnership will first offer this strategy to Standard Chartered’s private banking clients and later to retail banking clients. Elizabeth Chisholm, Head of Client Group Asia Pacific at Wellington, highlighted the current high interest rates and the stable return potential of fixed income investments.
